HC MUD 489: Update Regarding Water and Waste Collection

Dear Bridgeland Residents,

The West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) has lifted the Stage 1 condition of their Drought Contingency Plan. You can now return to normal water usage. Thank you for conserving water to the best of your abilities so that we work through these issues.

Waste Collection / Recycling

Experiencing delays: Please leave recycling carts and heavy trash out.

Due to delays at facilities and an overwhelming amount of storm debris within Harris County; we are experiencing delays in heavy trash and recycling. Please leave your recycling carts and heavy trash out. If it is not picked up by Saturday evening, please report it on BWA Connect. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyoneā€™s patience.

Reminder about regular trash

  • If you are normally serviced on Thursday; you will be serviced today Friday, July 12th.

  • If you are normally serviced on Friday; you will be serviced on Saturday, July 13th.

  • We will resume normal schedules on Monday, July 15.
